How to Check Your Tires for Wear

Do you know how to check your tires to see if they have enough tread to keep you safe on the roads?

It's a simple test.

Grab a penny and place it into each of the tire's grooves.

If any part of the tread covers Lincoln's head, you have enough tread to run for a few more miles.

If it barely covers his head, it's time to start looking for new tires.

If the head is not covered at all, please get new tires immediately.

It's not safe to drive your car on those tires!
