Willie J. Heard began his legal career as an associate for an insurance defense firm. In his work with trucking and transportation, he gained valuable experience defending insurance companies. Willie realized that his true passion was helping those who were injured due to the negligence of others. This realization led him to the Law Offices of Gary Martin Hays & Associates.

Willie earned his undergraduate degree from Florida Agricultural & Mechanical University (FAMU) and is a graduate of its College of Law. During law school, he interned at an Atlanta-based boutique entertainment law firm, the Conviction Integrity Unit at the State Attorney’s Office of Orlando, Florida, as well as FAMU’S Guardian Ad Litem Clinic.

With a desire and willingness to assist others with understanding their legal rights as it pertains to their case, Willie utilizes his abilities, skills, and endless dedication to zealously represent and advocate for each of his clients.

When Willie is not working for his clients, he enjoys being with family and friends and traveling.
