Emily Akbarshahi began her journey in the legal profession at the age of 16. While in high school, she worked as a legal assistant at a criminal defense law firm.

After attending Georgia State University for her undergraduate degree, Emily received her Juris Doctorate from the University of South Carolina School of Law. As a law student, she volunteered in the education rights clinic where she represented children with disabilities. She also assisted victims of domestic violence with the Atlanta Volunteer Lawyers Foundation.

Emily strongly advocates for her clients. She strives to deliver the best results possible for innocent victims and their families.

When Emily is not advocating for her clients, she enjoys spending time with her family, traveling, and cooking new recipes.
