Law enforcement is investigating if alcohol was a factor in at least two of the fatal crashes.

The Georgia Department of Public Safety encouraged drivers to not drink and drive on a twitter post following the Labor Day weekend.

There are options to avoid a serious accident involving drunk driving. Plan ahead! Designate a driver for the evening and stick to the plan. Another option is to download a driver service app - like Uber or Lyft - that will pick you up and drive you home.
