The Winning Weekend Root Beer Program invites guests at StillFire Brewing in Suwanee to enjoy responsibly by offering free non-alcoholic “Winning Weekend Root Beers” to designated drivers who say, “Gary sent me.” The goal: reward those who make smart choices behind the wheel and remind everyone that good times and safe decisions can go hand in hand.

A Partnership Brewed for Good
The initiative was announced in collaboration with radio personality English Nick and StillFire Brewmaster Phil, as part of a promotional segment with 97.1 The River. Hays, a longtime broadcaster himself, regularly uses his platform to raise awareness about road safety and responsible driving throughout Georgia.
The segment offered a behind-the-scenes look at StillFire Brewing’s new 97.1 The River Power Pilsner and introduced the Winning Weekend Root Beer, created especially for designated drivers in an effort to help prevent drunk driving accidents.
During the announcement, Hays encouraged drivers to plan ahead before going out, highlighting how easy it can be to make safer choices.
“Please, if you’re going to go out and drink, drink responsibly,” Hays said. “There are so many rideshare services available — use them. And if you’re the designated driver, your root beer’s on me.”
The free root beer promotion runs through the fall and early winter at StillFire Brewing, located in downtown Suwanee.
