Chad Bennett graduated from Mercer University in 1989 with a degree in political science and a minor concentration in business. He worked for an insurance company as an adjuster learning how the insurance companies work before joining a sole practitioner in Augusta, GA as a paralegal, only handling Workers' Compensation claims for injured clients. He attended law school at John Marshall Law School in Atlanta and graduated in 1998. During law school, Mr. Bennett clerked for Gary Martin Hays. Additionally, he received the book award for the highest grade in his Workers' Compensation course and numerous recommendations from professors for diligent work. Upon completion of law school, Mr. Bennett returned to Augusta and again fought for injured workers' rights as an attorney. He subsequently left Augusta to join an insurance defense firm in Atlanta, once again expanding his understanding of the insurance industry and their claims process. Never satisfied with this choice, Mr. Bennett joined the law firm of Gary Martin Hays & Associates, P.C. in 2006 in order to once again fight for injured clients' rights. He looks forward to meeting new clients and explaining the claims process to them and assisting during this very difficult time.
