Attorneys

Derek Hays completed his undergraduate studies at the University of Alabama in Tuscaloosa, Alabama. He graduated with a degree in Communications. He then moved to Orlando to work for Disney World in the animation department.

After several years, he decided to attend law school in Atlanta. Mr. Hays completed his law school education at John Marshall Law School.

Throughout his collegiate and law school studies, he appeared on the Dean's List numerous times for his outstanding academic achievements.

He was selected to represent his law school at the American Bar Association's Trial Competition in Orlando, Florida. He was also elected as Vice-President of the Student Bar Association for two consecutive terms.

He is licensed to practice in all of the State and Superior Courts of Georgia, the Supreme Court of Georgia, and in Federal Court before the United States District Court, Northern District.

Mr. Hays practices exclusively in the field of wrongful death and personal injury.
